Reporting to the Equipment Manager, the Equipment Coordinator will provide support for Stuart Olson operations and sites. This position will also be responsible for organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the shop, fleet, and storage areas.

This position is based in the Edmonton, AB Office.

Responsibilities

Organize merchandise and upkeep of shop and yard; load, unload and deliver shipments.

Operate shop equipment. (i.e. forklift to lift and sort incoming and outgoing products)

Understand company's guidelines pertaining to warehousing and delivery to various work sites.

Vehicle cleaning and maintenance.

Track and maintain accurate documentation, including the coordination of vehicle/equipment repairs and maintenance

Perform other general shop duties as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma

Valid Alberta Driver's license and acceptable drivers abstract

Site clearance

Reach Forklift Certification and other various material handing equipment an asset

Telehandler ticket required

Experience using SAP an asset

Basic construction and tool handling knowledge an asset

Proficient with MS Office software including; MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook

Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups

Strong written and oral communication skills

Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment

Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them

Strong organization, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
