Full time Forklift Operator position is eligible for a retention bonus of $2500 after 6 months of service. We have multiple shifts available for day, afternoon, and night with shift premiums of $0.75 per hour for afternoons and $1.50 per hour for nights. Operate power and non-powered material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.. Other material handling equipment may be considered.. Loading and unloading trucks. Picking and put-away of all product types. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions. Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures Qualifications. Equipment operator experience on order picker is required. Experience on clamp truck is an asset. Other Material Handling Equipment experience will be considered.. Ability to prepare customer orders by operating material handling equipment to lift and carry product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading sofas, etc.); some manual lifting is required to adjust the loads.. Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques. Able to meet deadlines. Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as required.
