With a great team of over 30 full-time employees and our own sheet metal shop for custom ductwork. Beyond comprehensive installs, we provide general repairs, preventative maintenance, and 24-hour service and support.
We are seeking an Installation Coordinator/Scheduler
Requirement:
•Considerable knowledge of the HVAC installations
•Knowledge pertaining to either the commercial, industrial and residential market.
•Trade License an Asset.
•Minimum five years experience.
Installation Coordinator Expectations:
You will be directly responsible for 15-25 installation technicians at any given time. Technicians skills will vary and personalities will be different. You will be responsible for motivating and keeping these technicians on track.
- Organize, structure and dispatch installation technicians daily.
- Prepare work orders for installation techs daily activities.
- Ensure invoicing completed daily and collection of payment for services performed.
- Setting timelines and follow up on project invoicing for large jobs.
- Work with Purchaser to make sure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner for work you have scheduled.
- Work with Operations Manager and Purchaser to implement flat rate structure for installation department.
- Working with Purchaser to make sure materials are set out for installation crews the day before.
- Preparing paperwork and materials for warranty processing. Warranties will be processed by Purchaser.
- Ensuring all Model #s and Serial #s are documented on our paperwork before the equipment leaves our warehouse.
- First contact for installation complaints. Try to resolve issue and satisfy customer.
- Prepare reports for installation department on a monthly basis. Reports may include:
- Project reports
- Customer satisfaction reports
- Equipment registration reports
- Assist with sourcing of equipment and material for installations.
- Follow up with customer after installs are complete.
- Assisting with collections of unpaid invoices.
- Site inspections as required.
- Work day from 7:30am - 4:30pm with 1 hour for lunch.
- Implement and maintain spiff program for selling accessories for techs.
- You will be responsible for taking the after hours phone calls on a rotation with other members of the office.
- You will be responsible for Nottawasaga Mechanicals Health and Safety Policies, Procedures and Accident reporting. You will be the Supervisor representative for the committee. It will be your responsibility to ensure Nottawasaga Mechanical and its employees are adhering to the Policies and Procedures as well as conducting the quarterly committee meetings. You will also be responsible for presenting the Tool box talks at each of our monthly staff meetings.
