Waste Connections of Canada an immediate opening for a Class 3 Driver to join our team in Abbotsford, BC . We are looking for a SAFETY inclined, energetic, autonomous and proactive team player capable of making a difference in his/her team and community.
The Residential Garbage Truck Driver is responsible for waste and recycling collection services in various municipalities in order to ensure that the materials are transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner to designated transfer station or landfill. This job is very physical and works outside in all weather conditions.
Shift timing :
- Monday to Friday 5:30 AM start time daily (some weekend work may be required)
- Up to 9 to 12 hours shifts. Overtime offered
- Hourly rate: $26.80 per hour
Qualifications:
- Class 3 License or higher
- Excellent driving record.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests
