Job Description:
Our client, a reputable Cold storage distribution warehouse in Brampton, ON, is seeking a Janitor for a temp-to-permanent position. If you have at least 1 year of janitorial experience.

Competitive pay: $19.50 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities as the Janitor:
Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of various areas, including offices, break rooms, bathrooms, yards/grounds, parking lots, warehouses, and dock areas.
Sanitize work areas and ensure they meet proper standards.
Perform disinfection and cleaning tasks such as floors, rugs, walls, and glass.
Adhere to OSHA standards and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Clean trailers and/or railcars as required.
Utilize cleaning equipment like steamers, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
Follow safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams diligently.
Be willing to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed to complete tasks or attend meetings.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or 1 year of relevant experience in janitorial work.
Experience operating a Low Lift Rider Truck is preferred.
Physical ability to bend, lift, kneel, and crouch during work duties.
Willingness to work in a cold storage environment.
Comfortable working in a moderately noisy warehouse setting.
