CEDA is currently seeking Operators at our Arcola, SK location! If you want the opportunity to drive the best trucks in all of Arcola, apply today!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground!
Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity
Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment - our experienced crew has your back
Ensure safety for all team members and property
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents
Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
Provide guidance to Laborers as required

Qualifications:

Valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
Driving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10, 13 speed, doesn't matter you will pass CEDA's driver assessment with flying colours)
Experience in an industrial environment is an asset
Willingness to get your SCOT (Safety Construction Orientation Training) certification
Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset but not required, we will train you!
Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude
Very comfortable with manual transmissions
Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
