Job Description:
An exciting opportunity to become a certified dental assistant at a modern, progressive, non-corporate dental clinic in the heart of the Danforth in Toronto. Clinical experience is a must (at least 2 years) along with Level 2 accreditation (HARP and NDAEB) . Your responsibilities will include assisting during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, educating patients on oral hygiene, maintaining records and managing inventory. To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, proficiency in using dental software (Paradigm and Sidexis a plus), and an understanding of infection control protocols. Monday thru Fridays, with no evening or Saturdays. Starting at $28-$30 per hour. Room for advancement for the right candidate.
