Dispatcher - LTL Trucking
Parkland Courier and Logistics is the reliable and economical solution for total freight movement. We are a family-owned company known for our incredible customer service, and now we are looking for a new addition to our tight-knit team.
This job requires a candidate that can handle multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.
Salary will be determined based on experience.
Duties will include:
Responsible for arranging pick up and deliveries
Planning Driver loads
Driver scheduling
Responding to incoming calls and emails and providing required information
Making outbound calls to customers when necessary to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently
Managing warehouse
Paperwork (hard copy) management and organization
Managing drayage
Skills:
LTL City Dispatching
Experience in the LTL Trucking Industry
Knowledge of "Drayage"
Truck Mate experience is an asset
Attention to detail
Fast pace work environment capability
Multi Tasking
Freight Load planning
MS Office experience
Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas
Successful Attributes:

Strong communication skills
Forward thinking - must be able to plan ahead & adjust when potential issues arise

Punctual ability to take simple phone calls in off hours
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week
