Job Description:
CORRIDOR ONTARIO / QUEBEC
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A MONTREAL SWITCH
We are currently hiring full-time Class 1/AZ Truck Drivers to join our team for runs between ONTARIO AND QUEBEC running 5 days THEN RETURNING home for resets on the weekends. These openings are available immediately.
The right candidates will have:
Valid AZ Drivers License with minimum 1 year experience
Commercial truck and trailer experience (dry van, reefer, tanker, flatbed) driving either local, regional, or USA)
Perform and record trip inspections and comply with documentation requirements
Strong ability to follow instructions
Able to read, write and speak English
Ability to work in all weather conditions
What to Expect:
Running Windsor/Quebec City, North Bay to Fort Erie radius. (Generally, just the 401 corridor but could branch off)
Good mix of pin to pin and live loads/unloads general freight using dry vans and reefers. Loads are 80% Full and LTL is 20% with an average of 2-4 extra stops.
