Position: Supply Chain Manager
Annual Salary: $98,000 to $102,000
Working hours: full-time 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The Supply Chain Manager will be managing the complete supply chain process. This involves daily decision-making, planning, and inventory management, as well as suggestions on process improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate day-to-day supply chain activities
  • Develop purchasing policies and procedures as required
  • Manage day-today logistics activities of transportation, shipping and receiving of items to ensure the smooth flow of materials and supplies to meet business demand
  • Identify vendors of materials and supplies and oversee negotiation of purchase contracts
  • Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and contact suppliers to resolve issues
  • Review and process damage claims against suppliers
  • Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed
  • Identify potential cost savings solutions based on previous cost and process of supply chain activities, and implement changes to reduce cost
  • Coordinate activities across internal functions as needed
  • Forecast supply and material needs based on records, numbers, and data analysis
  • Recruit, train and coach staff involved working in supply chain process

Job Requirements:

  • College’s diploma in business, logistics, or supply chain management
  • 5 years of experience working in logistics, purchasing, supply chain or a similar position
  • Proven knowledge and experience in supply chain management
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Superior mentoring and coaching skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Solid understanding of ethical issues related to supply chain
  • Solid understanding of business accounting and finance
  • Strengths in problem solving, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment
