Mechanic Pay: Earn up to $19.25 - $28.50/hour (based on experience)

Mechanic Hours:

• Monday-Friday
• Full-time, 40 hours per week. Some Weekend work required.
• 7:00 AM start time to 5:00 pm finish
• Shift premium for the evening shift

About the Position

• Trailer repair- PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension & product pump rebuild
• Tractor repair- PM's electrical work, brakes, suspension, engine diagnostics, general running repairs & PTO
• Basic tools required for the position
• Licensed 310 T Technician, ODP card, Diagnostic experience

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Experienced at repairing any tractor and trailer system including electric and electronic, must have experience with abs and related system.
• Yard, shop and office upkeep and maintenance
• Mounting and dismounting of tires for our fleet, and cleaning and care of rims.
• Assist mechanics with some basic maintenance items
• Follow safety and use of proper PPE
• Follow company procedures
• Moderate to Advanced computer skills.

Your Profile:

• Valid Class 1 Driver License - preferred but not required
• Tire Technician Training Certificate preferred
• 5 years experience with Tankers preferred
• Have a valid Colleges of Trades Certificate
• Operation of hand, air, and pneumatic tools
• Education: Grade 12 or equivalent
• Positive work ethic and attitude
