Our client, located in the Vaughan area, has an opening in their HR Department for a Payroll & Total Rewards Partner. This permanent full time opportunity offers:

- Work from home during Covid. Post Covid, this role will be working in the office 1-2 days per week and work from home
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Building relationships with HR leaders and partners on total rewards initiatives and improvements
- Analyzing data and participating in the development of policies and procedures
- Administration and communication of group benefits such as enrolment/terminations, plan changes, reviewing and ensuring correct premiums and deductions
- Managing and ensuring adherence to personal time off, short/long term leave, maternity/paternity leave etc.
- Reviewing and working with leadership teams to develop and administer compensation solutions and strategies
- Salary analysis and job mapping
- Manage payroll audits and maintaining and updating payroll processes
- Responsible for managing third party remittances and reporting of severance and benefit calculations
- Ensuring compliance with all ESA guidelines, Employment Equity, and AODA
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years experience in a similar role (Total Rewards, Payroll, HR)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, CHRP or CHRL designation
- Payroll certification preferred
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Advanced MS Office Skills, experience with Workday and ADP a strong asset
