What you will do: Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Account Executive is responsible for promoting the sale of Binary Stream products and services through the l Microsoft Dynamics (D365 Business Central, D365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics GP) reseller channel. Within their named account territory, successful Account Executives continually strive to both strengthen their existing partnerships, and to build new ones as well. Individuals in this role will collaborate with other departments including Marketing, Development, Finance and Administration to drive initiatives that will build and strengthen the strategic relationships they have with their reseller partners as well with Microsoft. This is a senior strategic account management position. This individual will be asked to anchor Binary Stream's operations in a named partner account territory. Key Responsibilities: * Own the relationship the Microsoft's Value-Added Resellers (VAR), System Integrators (SI) and other Integrated Software Vendors (ISV) within the named account territory. * Build and grow incremental business by expanding the Binary Stream footprint with existing Partners. * Contribute to and take ownership of Binary Stream's strategic growth plans for a defined list of named Partners. * Coordinate joint marketing and sales programs with Partners in conjunction with the Binary Stream marketing team. * Actively participate in the Binary Stream presence at various Conventions, Trade Shows, Industry events and reseller Partner hosted events. * Build strategic relationships within the Partners Executive ranks while still managing the end-to-end buying cycle in closing sales of Binary Stream products and services in conjunction with reseller Partners including capturing detailed requirements, preparing of quotes and proposals, and interfacing with the finance department to facilitate the invoicing process. * Coordinate account support functions including the planning and delegation of appropriate pre-sales resources against specific opportunities. * Assume 360 degree sales account ownership for partners and their end-customers including the lead qualification process and keeping all relevant opportunities current in CRM. * Maintain and promote ethical relations with all partners, customers and Binary Stream peers and management. * Maintain and keep safe the records, files, assets, and property of Binary Stream Software Inc., its customers, clients and resellers, in Dynamics CRM. * Up to 30% required travel as needed. Measures of Success: 1. Exceed all sales quota targets including: * Quota targets by solution * Geographical Partner growth objectives 2. Maintain an accurate sales funnel in Dynamics CRM. 3. Work well with the extended Binary Stream team. 4. Support the Binary Stream culture and values. Technical Skills & Other Requirements: * Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Office products including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Dynamics CRM. * Superior written and oral English communication skills. * Strong mathematical, costing / estimating projects, and strategic planning skills. * Advanced presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate the value of Binary Stream products in front of customers, and partners at all management levels. * Proficiency with technologies such as remote collaboration tools i.e. VPN, MS Teams, webinars and adept to emerging technology tools. * An intermediate to advanced understanding of enterprise accounting principles. Education and Experience: * A post-secondary degree in business and/or Information Technology or a college diploma in a similar field. * More than 5 years B2B Enterprise software sales experience. * Experience with ERP systems, or other Enterprise SAAS business solutions. * Understanding of Microsoft's channel and partnerships with Value Added Resellers (VARs), System Integrators and ISV's. * Previous ERP platform experience ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365, GP, D365 Business Central (NAV), or D365 Finance & Operations (AX) would be an asset.
