Scope:
The position will function as a Program/Project Manager providing professional, efficient and accurate delivery of all contracted support services for Kiewit Alliance initiatives. The proponent selected will have demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, systems, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. We are looking for a project leader that is creative, aggressive and looking to expand and advance Kiewit's Alliance initiatives in the Public Sector Alliances area.

Responsibilities:
- Overall project management accountability for the design, construction, commissioning and operations of alliance projects
- Participate in business development efforts by identifying future alliances work opportunities at existing projects and assist the business development team with the creation of estimates and proposals.
- Manages all aspects relating to contracted support for Alliance team
- Drafts, maintains and have completes knowledge of all governing documents of assigned alliances including bylaws and membership agreements; ensure compliance with all governing documents in the day to day activities of assigned alliances
- Work with clients, PMs, and cross-functional alliances teams to define project strategy, scope, milestones and deliverables to support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Successfully launching a project ensuring the business need is validated and correctly prioritized
- Drive partnerships with other Kiewit Districts to ensure company philosophy is fully embraced and executed
- Ensuring the implementation of Kiewit's strong safety and quality culture are integrated throughout project organization
Qualifications:
- At least 15 years' of alliances experience with complex civil infrastructure projects
- Design Build or Progress Design Build project experience is highly desirable
- Prior project management / construction management experience on rail projects is required
- Successfully implemented channel/field alliances strategy to drive dramatically increased revenue
- Estimating heavy civil construction is a PLUS
- Ideally have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- Experience leading multi-million-dollar contracts, including ownership of operations, project administration, client relations and all other scopes relative to large construction projects
- Highly experienced working with various alliances contracts and contracting vehicles
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- A project leader who is able to drive influence and build strong relationships with decision makers across all levels of partner and prospect organizations
- Natural and highly effective relationship / partner development skills
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task with special attention to detail and follow-up
- Competent in the use of computer software applications used for project control and administration, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
