As a Sr. Application Architect, you'll be responsible for developing application architecture specifications and standards guiding best practices in the Software Development Life Cycle. The Sr. Application Architect is guided by an object-oriented software framework and will provide strong technical leadership on technology solutions to enable CDW's business outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with senior managers to determine business-specific application needs.
• Participate in the planning; prioritization and resource allocation to manage business priorities
• Make technical decisions to meet the design goals articulated in our product roadmaps
• Demonstrate application prototypes and integrate user feedback to evolve final solutions
• Document application development processes, procedures, and standards.
• Incorporate industry trends and best practices in our software design and development frameworks
• Mentor junior application developers to create solid talent bench

What you need to succeed:
Must-have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MS, or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• 10+ years of experience in application development
• 5+ years of experience in RESTful Web Services technologies
• Experience in leading software development teams and managing implementation projects that utilize client / server and browser/server technologies.
• Experience in creating applications using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, XML, SQL Server
• Experience with Angular, WPF, MVC, MVVM, RESTful Web Services, WinForms, APIs, and TFS.
• Demonstrated understanding of SOA and object-oriented design and programming techniques.
• Working knowledge in all stages of the software development life cycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation.
