Responsibilities
·Developanoverallprojectimplementationplan,includingtimelines,milestonesand performance parameters, for the implementation of theStrategy (theProject).
·IdentifyanyoverallorspecificProjectrisks,andrecommendstrategiesforrisk mitigationandmanagement.
·Directly advise and support the internal project team throughproject planningandimplementation phases,(i.e. upto6monthspre-launch,andyears1and2).Specificproducts andtimeframestobenegotiated.
·Createandsupportuseofvarioustools,templatesand processes,asrequired,to support project management of the Strategy, including measuring andreportingonprojectprogress.
·Identifyproblemsandproviderecommendations,includingnewormodifiedprojectelements,newtoolsorprocesses,toresolvetheseproblems.\
·Leadachangeimpactanalysisregardingnotonlythe implementationof thenewStrategy, but cumulative effect ofchanges to the organization in recent years;lead the development of a regional organizational change managementactionplan, whichwould include,amongotherthings:
·Organizationof a Transition Team (the Team) of internal cross-programand branch management and staff to helpcommunicate the changeswithinprogramsandbranches.IncludingtoolsandsupporttoenabletheTeamto become self-sufficient for ongoing transition requirements,including the capacity building dimensionassociated with programgrowth;
·Adviceonbuildingstrategic integrationwithintheregionalorganizationand engagingwithin respective Branches on the cross-program andcross-branchchanges;
·Afeedback loop or mechanism for the Team to gatherthoughts/ideas/commentsfromwithintheirrespectiveBranches;
·Asurvey key Directors and Regional Directors on such issues asemployeefeedback andimplementationprogress,andreportingback toseniormanagementonaregularbasis;
·AninternalcommunicationsplanfortheTeamtosharewithintheirrespectiveprograms andbranches;and
·Developmentofanexternalcommunicationplanstoensureconsistencyofmessages betweeninternalandexternal plans.
·GuideandadvisetheTeam,includingorganizingandleadingteleconferences,MS Teamsmeetings and, face to face meetings, if appropriate; and preparingmeetings agendas, preparing material formeetings and associated logistics,includingnotetakingandmeetingminutes.
·Engagingmore broadly with regional seniormanagement, directors andmanagersinmostaffectedintheProgramsviameetings/phonecalls/emails,including;
·Asappropriate, identifying and developing strategies in relation to broaderorganizationalculturechangethatmayberequiredtosupporttheimplementationof theStrategy.
·Supportthe organizational realignment process, as outlined below, in particular,anyprogramspecificorganizationre-alignmentthatmaybeapprovethroughthatprocessandrequirechangemanagementsupportand expertise.
·Asappropriate,travelwithinBCandYukon(Whitehorse)toengagestaff.
Qualifications
·The proposedresourcemusthaveaminimumof one-hundred twenty (120) months ofexperience inthe areas of projectmanagement, changemanagement andorganizational design, including staffengagement,training, meeting facilitation andcommunicationsineachofthoseareas.
