We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company.

• Recommend tender strategy to senior management and subsequently manage bid and project teams to create a winning tender or development proposal.
• Confers with all elements of the sales, marketing and business development teams to ensure a holistic and comprehensive view of the operational and competitive landscape is achieved, when applicable.
• Coordinates and manages internal and external stakeholders.
• Leads company initiatives to improve internal processes as required.
• Ensures that all program activities in relation to time, cost and quality are budgeted, tracked and reconciled, invoices raised and receivables collected
• Lead the BU Risk management process; identify, capture, assign and monitor all program risks in conjunction with the BU management team

• Bachelors Degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials or Systems.
• 6 - 9 years experience
• A proven record in identifying opportunities and forming teams to pursue, secure and deliver a market leading solution.
• Demonstrated skills in leading high technology companies from nascent to high growth in the areas of composites, ballistics or related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to cope with the ambiguities and uncertainty characteristic of taking emerging technology and solutions and transitioning them into mature, accepted and profitable programs.
• The ability to handle, control and mitigate significant levels of individual and team risk.
• Demonstrated intellectual flexibility, good judgment, analytical problem solving and a calculated risk taking.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills and a history of communicating complex and innovative technologies into battlefield benefits to all levels of the military.
• Demonstrated success in managing programs of increasing scale and complexity.
• Demonstrated success in handling several project managers and projects simultaneously all at different stages of development.
• Demonstrated extreme execution mindset in fast paced, dynamic environments: evidence of doing "whatever it takes" to meet commitments to customers and the organization.
• Successful track record of "doing", as well as leading and managing, in the creation of world class systems solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of, and comfort with, military professional culture, a plus.
• Hands-on experience in taking technology and ideas from high potential to valued and profitable solutions in everyday use, a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and managerial success in high-growth, high technology companies, a plus.
• International management, sales or start-up experience, a plus.
• Experience in P&L management, a plus.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook and knowledge of ERP systems.
• Multi language knowledge, a plus.
