Job Description:

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Develop relationships with external clients to assist and support overall growth goals. Maintaining relationship with clients that enable repeat business.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through delivery of contractual obligations on time, on budget and to agreed quality objectives.
  • Lead global project bids in your region, through the entire bid lifecycle - pre-planning to hand over, including:
  • Ensure effective handover from the bid team to the delivery team.
  • Support the Project Leader through the project launch.
  • Approve the Project Design and Project Execution Plans ensuring appropriate structure, criteria for success, and major deliverables are all planned out.
  • Participate and approve baseline preparation including budgets and schedule.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a discipline related to engineering, or construction and/or appropriate industry experience and preferably additional tertiary qualifications in the area of business or a commercial /legal discipline.
  • An understanding of the operation of a multidiscipline engineering and construction company
  • Ability to lead, manage, develop and coach employees.
  • Sound technical skills and expertise in major project financial management.
  • Strong commercial aptitude, including an understanding of client needs to obtain finance.
  • Involvement in the set up and senior management of an international engineering or construction business.
  • International experience.
  • Must have prior experience in a Project Delivery role.
