Job Title: Senior Program Manager

Expert
o A Degree in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of six (6) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
o A Diploma in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of seven (7) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
o A Certificate in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of eight (8) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
o An absolute minimum of ten (10) years of directly related Consulting Category experience.
The Infrastructure Program Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Interface with internal IMITS stakeholders to develop a roadmap of strategic and tactical technology investments in support of fiscal planning cycles
- Liaise with key clinical and business stakeholders through established governance forums to facilitate project ideation, prioritization, and funding approval
- Develop necessary collateral including but not limited to presentations, briefing note and business cases/charters to support to project development lifecycle
- Development of necessary processes and tools to manage programmatic views for senior leadership consumption
- Inform and oversee the project capacity and demand functions and related collateral and processes
- Lead and manage resources to support program objectives
- Inform and manage program budgets
- Track and report on program performance including project status, financials, risks/issues, constraints, etc.
- Enable successful delivery of underlying projects on scope, schedule, and budget
- Collaborate with other program managers within the TA Portfolio to meet goals and objectives

- Experience working in Health Authority environment preferred
- Demonstrated capability in handling sensitive and challenging situations.
- Demonstrated capability to work with Senior Management team and Senior Executives.

- Excellent project management, analytical skills, people skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven facilitation skills and experience in a clinically oriented business setting.
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:
- A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of recent, related experience in project, program and/or portfolio management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation (or equivalent) considered a strong asset.
- Past project management experience with Clinical Information Systems is an asset, as is work experience within British Columbia's health care system.
- Experience facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Experienced in thoroughly integrating change management and process improvement principles into own project management style.
- Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
