Financial Manager

Position type: Permanent and Full-Time

Working hours: 35 hours/ week; 52 weeks per year

Salary: $49.00/hour

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required;
• At least five years' experience in financial area;
• Previous proven experience managing a team;
• Public accounting and experience;
• Have knowledge of financial activity systems and financial management tools;
• Detail oriented and highly analytical;
• Excellent communication skills;
• CPA, CA would be an asset

Duties:

• Arrange and oversee daily operation of financial department;
• Plan and review journal entries, analyze financial data, and co-ordinate the preparation of financial management reports and financial statements and summaries;
• Develop and execute financial policies, systems and procedures;
• Recruit, organize and train accounting staff;
• Organize and lead the team to plan and evaluate financial issues in department;
• Review financial statements and business proposals, analyze fund flows, assess overall financial impacts and provide accounting guidance to company and investors;
• Make recommendations for changes to procedures, budgets and other control functions to senior managers budgets and statements, and report to senior management;
• Lead the team to establish and maintain financial models and system;
• Liaise between corporate and its shareholders, and external financial analysts
