ABOUT GEOFORM CANADA:

Geoform Canada Ltd. is your solution provider of high-quality products and local implementation services for your ground consolidation, waterproofing and various construction challenges in tunnelling, mining, and large buildings. With many years of experience in the industry, we collaborate with various reputable Canadian and international manufacturers to assist construction and engineering companies with waterproofing systems, underground equipment, rock and soil support, mine and tunnel fans and flexible ducting, and expandable containers and trailers.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") will be the executive responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision to Geoform Canada Ltd. by working with the Board of Directors, and the senior management team to establish, implement and oversee the long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies of Geoform Canada Ltd. The CEO'sprimary priority will be the coordination of developing our business in Canada and then extending the services to the rest of North America. Responsibilities will include:

  • Determine the mission and strategic direction of the company as communicated in policies and objectives;
  • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies; formulate promotional campaigns; establish financial and administrative controls; and human resources planning;
  • Establish and manage the business collaboration of our company with manufacturers in Germany, through developing strategic partnerships, distributorships with German and other European Brands;
  • Oversee the procurement of equipment and materials from our key supplying countries such as Germany and Turkey, and rest of the world;
  • Coordinate the Sales and Marketing activities of the company both in Canada and North America;
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, including Canadian and North American customers and prospects;
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working environment; and
  • Evaluate the success of the company in reaching its goals.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor Degree in Business Administration

    EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an executive capacity performing international business development activities;
    • Proven experience in international business financing with innovative finance solutions;
    • Demonstrated experience with business development in North America (Canada and US);
    • Proven experience with corporate transformation, re-branding, innovation development and change management;
    • Demonstrated experience in transformation of business ventures for rapid growth;
    • Knowledge of construction services, construction material and infrastructure projects;
    • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision;
    • An entrepreneurial background and mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills;
    • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles;
    • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, public relations, finance etc.;
    • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices;
    • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills; and
    • Excellent communication


      WAGE:

      CAD 120,000.00 per annum based on a 40 hour work week. Eligibility for annual salary increase.
