• Will possibly have to work weekends

Waste Connections of Canada is looking for a Roll Off to join the Winnipeg Team, who shares our number one core value - Safety. We put our drivers first and we work together by listening, removing barriers, and by providing ongoing coaching and support.

Main Duties

• Ensure safe operation of a standard transmission truck, while driving, loading, and unloading
• Drive to customer location for pickup, and position truck safely to ensure a safe lift.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service.
• Dump contents at designated recycling facility or landfill.
• Pre/Post-trip inspection.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
• Roll Off experience preferred
• Class 3 or higher Commercial Driver's License with an air-brake endorsement.
• Excellent spatial skills to position vehicles and bins effectively and drive accident free.
• Good knowledge of City Of Winnipeg and the surrounding area.
• Physically able to climb in and out of truck to unlock/lock bins (or roll recycling containers) and to clean out truck after dumping contents.
