Terms of Employment: Full time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours a day)
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics/Logistics or similarMinimum of 6-7 years of industry experience in project logistics including working in the area of global environments/international markets including at least 3-4 years of supervisory/managerial/leadership experience in Project Logistics in international markets with on site experience in West Africa and Asia.Considerable and proven experience in people development, coaching, conflict management and performance managementExperience and development of Track and trace E2E systemsEntrepreneurial mindset and skilled at identifying business opportunities and setting specific strategiesProven experience and skilled at negotiating/analysing/conceptualizing the commercial opportunities within the supply chains to cooperate with counterparts to translate these into revenue streamsAdvanced inter-personal skills with a positive, honest, and open mindset
Role:
Plan, organize and evaluate the strategies to understand operations risks , opportunities and business interestsEnsure company wide adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental topics, including environmental and workplace health and safety regulations, changing expectations of stakeholders, and national/local issues.Conduct Feasibility studiesCreate Sea, Air and Land Transport cost modelling for:Mine ConstructionMine Production: Management of Supply chain flowsConduct Road surveys and provide definitive solutions and cost estimationsOffer Trade and tariff consultancy services to existing and prospective clientsEstablish SOPs for Master List Management for in country specific ProjectsOversea Global transport management for construction projectsPlan and Execute Heavy Haul/Oversize cargo deliveryEstablish Global Supply Chain optimization/executionDesign purpose-built solution for clients for Order expediting, reporting Real time Track & Trace E-2-E systemsIntegrate and coordinate resources across functions and boundaries, building and using networks, encouraging collaboration across borders, being open to outside input and sharing knowledge and expertiseIdentify cargo consolidation services to assist clients globallyAttend Pre-shipment InspectoratesCreate client specific reports for Documentation Management servicesOversea Customs clearance servicesDangerous Goods consultancy servicesOn-site materials management services, offer value in end-to-end order management.Specialised Charter brokerage for Air and Sea including.- Supervision at load/disport coordinating all facets

Lead people, including hiring and retaining talent, directing reports, defining KPIs and monitoring performanceOrganise including prioritising, planning, assigning, and controlling objectivesFocus on customer service as a core value, increasing operational efficiencies, setting, and monitoring high standards of quality necessary to retain / improve customer relationshipsUnderstand the commercial opportunities within the supply chains to cooperate with counterparts to translate these into revenue streams
