We are in need of a Solution Architect for our Application Managed Services Sales Support and Solutions. This position will be based anywhere in Canada.
Scope of Responsibilities will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
Responsibilities:
  • Application Managed Services Sales Support and Solution Creation:
    • Build end to end enterprise solution constructs on AMS RFPs and proactive pursuits in areas around cloud modernization, Agile/DevOps transformation and next gen AMS and ADM (Application Operating models
    • Work on RFPs, both customer originated as well as proactive proposals, and customer identified projects for overall service improvements and state-of-the-art solution implementation.
    • Collaborates with all relevant verticals / horizontals in order to review the objectives and constraints of each solution and determine conformance with the goals identified. Recommends and defines the most suitable solution.
    • Identifies implementation risks and analyses potential impact on the enterprise and on the achievement of scheduled objectives.
    • Supports sales executives by qualifying prospects and delivering client presentations of AMS capabilities and differentiation.
    • Contributes to winning a high percentage of the proposals.
    • Work across and integrate services/products from multi-disciplinary teams including sales, finance, business assurance, enterprise technical architecture, infrastructure, digital transformation.
    • Work with each of the towers to review effort and cost inputs to achieve overall solution efficacy, deliverability and win rate.
    • Present and lead solution alignment workshops with our customers.
  • Application Managed Services Offering Management:
    • Researches overall application support tools across ERPs and non-ERP solutions, industry leading standards and methodologies in the market. Tools in the area of AI Ops, RPA, Devops, No-code, monitoring etc.
    • Advises and recommends application support strategies, processes and methodologies
    • Shares best practices, lessons learned and constantly updates the solution architecture requirements based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current and upcoming vendor products and solutions.
    • Build an integrated solution strategy working across different technology groups/horizontals including Enterprise Applications, ERP & COTS, Infrastructure services, Integration services, Cloud services.
    • Design an Integrated Operating model across towers and jointly build engagement level Transformation themes
  • Application Managed Services Solution Architecture:
    • Recommends and participates in activities related to the design, development and implementation of the identified solutions.
    • Conducts and/or actively participates in meetings related to the designated project/s, both locally and internationally, with existing clients or prospects.
    • Develops practices, process and methodologies to audit/review existing engagements and guide them for implementation of improvements projects to fix the gaps identified.
  • Evangelize, collaborate, and be part of a team that is focused on achieving and continuously improving the highest delivery of customer value.
Qualifications:
  • 10 plus years of strong delivery experience
  • 5 plus years in solutioning/selling AMS/ADM delivery, COTS and/or Custom Applications
  • Highly experienced in various estimation/commercial models including SaaS
  • Experience in Client facing roles
  • Experience in anchoring / supporting large RFPs
  • Very good working knowledge of SLAs, SLOs, KPIs and critical metrics related to Application Managed Services
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal teams; Good Communication/Written skills is critical to articulate the solution
  • Additional experience in solutioning/managing DevOps/ Agile Delivery
  • Strong experience/familiarity with automation technologies and their application in an AMS/ADM business context.
  • Ability to Articulate value in terms of business outcomes/outputs.
  • Solution Selling - Ensuring quality solution delivery and subsequent solution selling to other key stakeholders.
  • Creating collaterals: Creating capability decks, case studies, mailers and contribute to creation of assets.
