As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you'll be a part of CDW's Risk Advisory Services practice that specializes in Cyber Security and Risk, penetration testing, IT audit, IT operational, vulnerability management, and technology risk advisory services. The team is rooted in innovation and every decision made is to provide the best quality services for our customers. Our mission is to provide our customers with meaningful security insights to mitigate risks associated with critical information.
* What you'll do:*
* Conduct or assist with penetration testing (networks, web applications, web services, wireless networks, social engineering, etc.), Red Team, and adversarial simulation assessments
* Perform or assist with ongoing vulnerability management scans and requisite reporting for clients
* Document findings and assist with the creation and quality assurance of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment reports; assist with the delivery of the information in verbal and written format.
* Help senior members with other information security tasks as assigned
* Maintain technical proficiency, sharing knowledge throughout the firm through tool development, template enhancements, and methodology enhancements. Identify and implement improvements in existing processes and procedures.
* Perform research and development of new leading-edge tools and penetration testing and vulnerability management products and services
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, countermeasures, security tools, and network technologies.
* *What you need to succeed:
Must-have:*
* 2+ years of experience in a relevant security role
* Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Information Security / Computer Science / Software Development / Network engineering or related field
* Interest in ethical hacking, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity.
* Sound knowledge of computer networking and software development
* Web development experience
* Proficiency with Linux-based and Windows OSs
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Willingness to learn
* Nice-to-have:*
* 2+ years of experience in penetration testing or vulnerability management
* OSCP/OSCE/OSWP/OSWE or equivalent offensive security certifications
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Level 2-Secret security clearance
* Bilingual English and French
