Job Title: Field Installation Trainer

General Purpose of Position:

The Field Trainer will focus on onboarding and improving the proficiency of LeafFilters subcontracting teams to build value and quality with customers through training and field engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train, coach and develop installers on a daily basis, both in the classroom and in the field
• Assist in recruiting of new installers and improving hiring retention rates
• Ensure jobs are installed on a daily basis to improve location attainment and effectiveness
• Responsible for driving proficiency among installers
• Installation training expert; able to teach all aspects of installing LeafFilter products on all types of homes with all LF products
• Regional market expert-able to provide market-specific training, local tweaks, market insight as adjunct to generic training
• Able to identify weaknesses of individuals and teams, and create or co-create ad hoc training events to address weaknesses
• Roll out training programs and materials in neighboring offices
• Create, develop and implement regional field training events
• Works with the Installation Managers on individual performance, abilities and capacities of the installers

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS)

• 3+ years of successful experience in Construction Installation
• Track record of successfully training and/or coaching Installers
• Must have proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
• Enjoys teaching others
• Excellent verbal and writing skills required
• Excellent presence in presentation situations
• Stamina and a customer-friendly attitude
• Gutter/Soffit/Fascia/Siding background is a plus, but not necessary

Required Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma, preferred (5) years of home improvement, construction or gutter installation experience.
