Reporting to the VP Business Operations, the Director of the Project Management Office and Vendor Management will drive towards an effective process-improvement and scalable business. You will oversee all aspects of Project Management and Vendor Management functions for all areas of business, working to enable teams globally. As we grow, you will be a vital part of helping empower and enabling teams to drive efficiencies and scale Q4.

This is a 16 month contract ending August 2022, and is remote however the business hours are Eastern Standard.
Responsibilities
  • Act as an advisor to leadership, taking both a hands-on and strategic approach to provide expertise in the areas of project management, process improvement, vendor analysis and contract management, workflow efficiencies and change management
  • People management, coaching and development of local and virtual team members - act as advisor on all Q4 PMO-led projects for more junior team members
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business and support partners and empower other Q4 teams to self-lead internal department projects
  • Develop, lead and manage project frameworks, strategies, plans and processes across the organization to ensure a consistent project experience
  • Analyze and present project-related data to business leaders on a regular basis - develop enterprise project management standards for record keeping and audit purposes
  • Conduct project management activities for assigned projects often involving multiple functions and stakeholders across the business
  • Ensure the development of project artifacts for all project initiatives ( e.g.business case, risk register, operational knowledge transfer, workplan, etc.) as required
  • Monitor and track all projects across the business as well as individual project scope and progress throughout the project lifecycle to deliver the expected project outcomes within agreed-upon time, cost, and quality parameters
  • Analyze and report on vendor management efficiencies to business leaders on a regular basis
  • Onboard vendors through internal processes; manage all contracts and realize efficiencies associated with vendor management and fulfillmentEnsure enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment, needs assessment and continued vendor monitoring are being accomplished
  • Reduce and remove vendor redundancies and provide leadership streamlined best of breed alternatives for consideration prior to onboarding new vendors
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, or equivalent experience8+ years of
  • Project Management and Business leadership in a public & high growth/fast paced environment is a key asset
  • PMP certification or any other project management certification
  • Change Management certification is considered an asset
  • A combination of Project Management experience in the following areas: project management, procurement, change management, and lean process improvement initiatives
  • Experience leading and coaching cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing a project management office and training the organization in project management
  • Articulate, with excellent presentation and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills for business and technical projects, including ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and follow through on completion of high-profile projects
  • Experience as an advisor or consultant to executive teams and maintaining good relationships with employees at all levels
