We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Solution Analyst

As a Solution Analyst, you will be responsible to review requirements for support tasks or as part of an implementation project to make the necessary product changes to build customer solutions using our propriety software framework. You must be able to work in a rapid delivery environment and work across both support tasks and on customer implementations simultaneously.

This role reports to our VP, Professional Services.

What you ll be doing:

  • Design, build and configure insurance products and components on our web-based toolset
  • Understand and deconstruct an Excel rating matrix for purposes of building the same product onto the platform
  • Complete support tasks to make necessary product changes
  • Analyze and interpret business requirements to design and implement insurance business services
  • Active participation in all phases of the customer implementation process
  • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including the Business Analyst, Account Manager, QA Analyst, and Project Manager

What you ll need:

  • Bachelor s degree with a concentration in Engineering, MIS or Computer Science is preferred or equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English mandatory;
  • Strong analytical skills, critical reasoning, and excellent communication skills
  • Some light experience working with code like JavaScript, Java, HTML or something similar
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Minimum 2 years of documenting or working with detailed business process flows, technical manuals, and web flows
  • Minimum of 2 years in business or technical requirements analysis

Curious to know a little more about the product? The toolset you will be working with allows you to build a full insurance product from rating, quoting to issuing a full policy document. This includes building screens, workflow between the screens, rules behind questions on the screens, forms, and integration points.
