We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
- Overseeing team productivity and the engineering budget
- Supporting funding opportunities to be pursued, awarded and funds received
- Personnel Management
- Setting the tone and overseeing overall people management within your teams including recruiting, onboarding, ongoing coaching/mentoring, performance management, etc.
- Directly managing and coaching the technical leads as well as managing individual contributors with specific skill sets or roles.
- Strategy Development
- Ensuring that the teams in your organization understand company priorities and goals as well as how their personal objectives tie to the overall organization.
- 5+ years in a software technology engineering management role with progressive experience leading diverse teams to repeatedly deliver on time and with excellent quality against product and system requirements
- Experience managing rapid growth and scaling
- Prior management experience working on a platform with high availability and large numbers of users
- Proven track record as a leader and team builder with a history of leading an inclusive and engaged engineering/development team
- Pragmatic approach to establishing processes and best practices for planning, software and systems development, quality assurance and technology innovation
