Description: RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Executive (Senior) 1 English resource(s) :Define and confirm the objectives for the project, determine budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities and terms of reference for the project team;Lead the development of briefings, solutions and status reports for presentation to executive management;Develop and deliver presentations to senior management and stakeholder groups as required;Provide advice to ensure business strategies are developed and implemented;Meet with other organizational executives to ensure all internal and external stakeholders are committed and moving forward on project and organizational goals;Lead working groups and consultations and obtain consensus and reach decisions with respect to recommendations and strategic options pertaining to the project;Provide expert solution and business transformation leadership for the project with all stakeholders;Provide solution and transformation alignment leadership from a project planning perspective;Provide leadership and oversight for implementation an operations, activities, including usage of deliverables necessary to satisfy the methodology, including, but not limited to:Strategic Business Objectives and Critical Success factors;Definition of business competencies, capabilities, value drivers, outcomes and measures, and;Definition of target business model, operating model, and target service model.Provide project oversight during the implementation and operations start-up to ensure that resources are made available and aligned and that the project is developed and is fully operational within previously agreed time, cost and performance parameters, and;Other work as deemed necessary relating to architecture, solutions, commercial products, industry best practices and business transformation.QUALIFICATIONSThe Proposed Resource has experience providing executive level (Director General and above) briefings on the project status of IT enabled projects.The Proposed Resource has experience leading and managing IT enabled projects where the number of resources on the project team was in excess of 100 resources.The Proposed Resource has experience leading and managing IT enabled projects that were implemented nationally and required high availability.High Availability: a system that is expected to operate reliably 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and an associated implementation that ensures a minimum of 99% operational continuity per year.The system must be rolled out across a minimum of 20 locations across the country and be implemented for 2,000 or more users.The Proposed Resource has experience leading and managing IT project(s) that support the shared business needs of 2 or more government departments, agencies or Crown Corporations and project(s) involving 2 or more stakeholders.The Proposed Resource has experienceperforming assessments on project complexity and risk as an independent assessor or in a project quality assurance function for large scaleIM/IT initiatives ****Large scale IM/IT-initiatives are defined as an operating budget > $200M and impacting 500 personnel.Further to MT4 under this category, the Proposed Resource has experience in managing additional IT enabled project* involving two (2) or more stakeholders. *The project must have a minimum duration of 6 months, be national in scope and a total project expenditure of $100M or more.Valid Federal Government Reliability ClearanceDURATION: 1 Year
